Storefront Simple Shipping

Adaptive Catalog storefront supports simple shipping calculations for every order. This is reported to your customer as Estimated Shipping on the order confirmation page. The two shipping price calculations currently supported by Adaptive Catalog are Flat Rate and Per Product.

Flat Rate shipping will charge a fixed amount per order placed by the customer, while Per Product will charge for each product on an order. Both methods will ignore any products that have all of their dimensions and weight set to 0 (and thus are not considered "Physical Products" in Adaptive Catalog).

Setting Up Shipping

Setting Shipping for All Storefronts

1. Go to Adaptive Catalog

2. Click on your initials

3. Click on Settings

4. Click on Storefront Management

5. Fill out Default Shipping Charge - This is the amount that will be charged as either a flat fee for per product.

6. Select a default shipping charge type - This is where you set the method for calculating shipping. Flat Rate will simply charge the selected shipping amount for every order placed and Per Product will charge based on the number of products on a given order.

7. Click on Save

Set a Storefront Specific Shipping Rate

1. Click on Storefronts

2. Click on Details

3. Select a shipment calculation method

4. If desired, override the shipping charge amount

5. Click on Save
