August 2026 Release
This release, our focus was on giving you more ways to sell and more control over the experience: true promotions with vendor deals and your own campaigns, bundles your customers can configure themselves, smarter search and recommendations powered by what shoppers actually do, and full control over how customers sign in and sign up. On top of that, the Storefront design toolkit takes another big step with templates, reusable styles, asset management, and custom pages.
Promotions
Promotions are now a first-class part of Storefront. Vendor promotions flow in automatically as promotional costs, and you can create and edit your own product promotions right from the admin UI, including building a campaign first and adding products to it later. Shoppers see a promo badge and a clear was/now price on promoted items, and a new "On Promotion" home page section gathers your active deals in one place. Promotion allocations draw down automatically as orders are placed so a limited-quantity deal can never oversell, and per-Storefront toggles let you choose exactly where each promotion runs.

Configurable Bundles
Bundles have been enhanced in this release: you can now organize bundle items into groups, mark items as optional, and define which choices are selected by default. Shoppers configure bundles directly for themselves—selecting options and adjusting choices right in the cart—while prepared carts fully support configurable bundles, including preselected quantities. Once an order is placed, the bundle is snapshotted exactly as it was configured at checkout, ensuring your order records remain accurate even if the bundle is updated later.

Smarter Storefront Search & Recommendations (Preview)
The Storefront search bar now offers autocomplete suggestions as shoppers type, built automatically from your catalog and ranked by what shoppers actually search for, buy, and request quotes on. Suggestions are precomputed so they appear instantly, and stale ones are retired automatically as your catalog changes. Product pages gain two new recommendation rows: "More Like This" shows similar products, and "Frequently Added Together" surfaces items that real shoppers buy alongside the one being viewed. "Recommended For You" now lets you choose which signals feed it (purchases, quote requests, abandoned carts), and shoppers can dismiss recommendations they do not want.
Recommendations are available per organization; contact us to have them enabled.
Storefront Sign-in and Signup Updates
You now control the entire login page of your Storefront. Select how customers sign in, including a magic link, an emailed one-time code, or a confirmation link opened in a separate tab—each option is handled within the page experience, without redirecting shoppers elsewhere. You can require approval for new signups, supported by an auto-approve list for trusted email domains. A dedicated Users screen enables you to review, approve, deny, or remove customers, with clear confirmation dialogs at every action. The Sign In page itself is also customizable through a live-preview editor. In addition, the full authentication flow is safeguarded with built-in bot detection. Throughout the process, key steps provide clear communication: the approval email is fully configurable, including a token panel, and new signup and awaiting-approval events can notify your team immediately via webhooks (including ready-to-use Microsoft Teams payloads).
Design Toolkit: Templates, Styles, Assets, and Custom Pages
Creating a beautiful Storefront is now faster than ever. With new Storefront Templates, you can begin with a professionally designed storefront instead of starting from a blank page. Named style presets, color palettes, and font packs also make it easy to reuse your design choices across every page. In addition, a new asset manager helps keep your logos, banners, and images organized through tagging and a detailed activity log.
The header and footer now include a visual layout builder, featuring a full-width mega menu, a search-as-a-row header mode, and a “Browse All” call-to-action band. With Custom Pages, you can publish your own content pages (such as About, Services, Support, or anything else) at their own URLs. These pages are composed from rich content sections with flexible widths.
The page editors have also been refreshed with consistent command bars, and the editor preview now matches your published Storefront exactly.
Small Fixes & Features
- Publish protection - Publishing a Storefront can no longer wipe or duplicate live banners, links, sections, or pages, and preview URLs now behave consistently.
- One Order Email Template - Order emails now use a single rich Order Email Template with token autosuggest, replacing the old Customer Email Text setting. Your existing text is carried into the new template automatically.
- Faster product updates - Cached Storefront products are now invalidated the moment the data behind them changes, so price and content edits reach shoppers promptly.
- Admin grid filtering and sorting - Column filters and sorting are now supported on the Storefront product, saved-search, and bundle grids, and filters match anywhere in the text, case-insensitively.
- Unified "Add To..." menu - Adding products to workspaces, bundles, and Storefronts is now one consistent flow from search.
- Search criteria fixes - Attribute values in search criteria are no longer truncated
- Contact search - Contact search now matches as you type (prefix matching)
- API key management - Re-enabling an API key is now instantaneous and the API key updates are displayed in UI immediately.
- Product media - Resolved an issue setting the product thumbnail from the media tab.
- Checkout polish - The checkout prerequisites dropdowns and terms-scroll gate no longer stick, and country/region suggestions appear only once you start typing, positioned right under the field.
- Mobile carts - The mobile prepared-cart view now shows every product in a bundle.
- Tag search accuracy - Searching by tag no longer returns bundles and dynamic listings that merely mention the tag.
- Email preview - Resolved an issue where previewing certain HTML email templates would cause a display render issue.
- Footer socials - X now has its own icon (no more repurposed Twitter bird), and BlueSky is available as a platform.
- Webhook management - The webhook list refreshes immediately after every change, and row actions were cleaned up with edit leading and delete trailing.
